About FreeHeadshot

What this site is

FreeHeadshot (freeheadshot.app) is a free style guide for professional headshots, with one working tool: a photo cropper. You can explore styles — corporate formal, business casual, studio classic and more — see AI-generated example portraits for each, check the right crops and sizes for LinkedIn, your resume and your company page, and crop your own photo to an exact pixel size. Everything is free, with no account and no signup.

How it works

Every style page shows fully AI-generated example portraits; no example on this site depicts a real person. The site does not generate headshots and has no photo upload. The cropper on the job application photo page opens your photo inside your browser, crops and resizes it there and gives you back a JPG; your photo is not sent to us. An early-access email list for a planned upload-and-generate feature existed until October 2026; it is closed, and that feature is not offered.

Why it's free

The example galleries are generated once and served as a static site, so letting you browse them costs little more than plain web hosting — there is no reason to charge for it or to demand an account. The footer links to other free tools we operate, and those links are tagged as ours.

Who's behind it

FreeHeadshot is built and maintained by a small independent team that makes free, no-signup browser tools. A real person reads the inbox and handles privacy and deletion requests. Questions, corrections or feedback: support@freeheadshot.app.

Your photos & our policies

This site never receives your photos, so there is nothing of yours for us to store, train on or delete. The plain-language version lives on the your photos page, the full policy in the privacy policy, and the rules of use in the terms.
