Uploading your face asks for real trust. Here’s the plain-language version of how your photos would be handled — and a link to the full policy. These are commitments, not aspirations.
Photo upload and headshot generation are in early access, so today the site holds no photos and no biometric data — you browse AI-generated style examples and, if you choose, join an early-access list with just an email. The promises below govern upload-and-generate so the rules are public before the feature exists. The full, binding policy is in our Privacy & your photos page.
Deleted within 7 days
Any photo you ever upload — and any face data derived from it to render your likeness — is permanently deleted within 7 days, automatically. You can also trigger immediate deletion yourself at any time, without giving a reason.
Never used to train other models
Your photos and any face data derived from them are used only to create your own headshots. They are never added to a training set, never reused for anyone else, and never sold or disclosed to third parties.
Explicit, opt-in consent
Before any upload, you must tick a consent checkbox that is never pre-ticked — no consent, no processing. If you are covered by a biometric privacy law such as Illinois’ BIPA or the EU/UK GDPR, the consent, retention and deletion practices are designed to honour those rights. You can withdraw consent and delete your data at any time by emailing support@freeheadshot.app.

Is it safe to upload my face to this AI headshot generator?
There is no photo upload yet — it is in early access — so today we hold no face data. When upload opens, any photo is processed only to generate your headshots, deleted within 7 days, never used to train other models, and instantly deletable by you. The full policy is on the Privacy page.
How long are my photos kept?
A maximum of 7 days, after which your uploaded photos and any data derived from them are permanently deleted automatically. You can also delete them immediately at any time.
